Accessibility

CG Success wants Texas Success Connection to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.

What is built into this site

• Semantic HTML — real headings, lists, landmarks and form labels.
• A "skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Full keyboard operation, including the mobile menu, which closes onEscape and returns focus to the button that opened it.
• A single, consistent, high-contrast focus ring on every interactive element, adjusted so it stays visible on dark sections.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA for body text, buttons and interface text.
• Every form control has a visible, associated label. Errors are announced with role="alert" and success withrole="status".
• FAQ answers use native <details> elements, so they are present in the page for assistive technology and for find-in-page even before any JavaScript runs.
• Motion is opt-in: entrance animations are disabled entirely when your system requests reduced motion, and no content depends on an animation to become visible.
• Touch targets on buttons and form controls are at least 44 pixels tall.
• The site is responsive from small phones to large desktop displays and supports browser zoom and text resizing.

Where we are honest about the limits

This site has not had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim formal conformance to a WCAG level. The measures above are what was designed and tested in-house. If something here does not work for you, that is a defect worth reporting rather than an accepted limitation.

The live event

Accessibility arrangements for the live broadcast — including captions and any other accommodations — are still being finalised and will be announced ahead of the event. Registered attendees will be notified. If you need a specific accommodation to take part, tell us as early as you can so it can be planned for rather than retrofitted.
